The Alumni Board is responsible for the planning and implementation of all alumni activities and communication between NH HOBY and its alumni. Currently, all the following positions need to be filled. If you are interested in running for any of the positions, please fill out the form to the right NO LATER THAN JULY 12TH. These short blurbs will be posted to the website and facebook page and elections will take place at the July Reunion.  If you are able to attend, you may give a speech, but you are not required to attend or to give a speech if you choose not to. 

BOARD POSITIONS:

President – Sets vision for the organization for the upcoming year. The President interacts

with and reports to the Alumni Advisor, and oversees the other board members. They are also responsible for organizing and running board meetings (in conjunction with the alumni advisor) and completing other tasks as needed. In some capacity, is responsible for completing tasks of all other  board members. 

Vice-President – Assists President with his/her duties; is responsible for membership development and recruitment.  Vice President assumes the role of a secretary/treasurer. Specifically is responsible for meeting minutes and maintain accurate records for both the membership and finances.

Communications & Technology Chairperson – This person publishes a Chapter Newsletter each month, updates website, updates facebook page, and is in charge of any other communication with association members and the general public.

Alumni Event Coordinator – This person plans reunions (HOBY HANGOUT!), fundraisers, and community service events, based on a quarterly rotation (4 of each event per year, 1 event per month).

Seminar Planning Committee Liaison – This person is the official representative of the alumni to the Seminar Planning Committee; participates as an active member of the committee; ensures that alumni input is used in the planning of seminar, to help better the leadership seminar.

All Board Members – are required to have approximately 2 hours per week of work for their position;  attend board meetings or conference calls to the highest extent possible; communicate effectively with other board members; be an active member of the board (complete all tasks required of their position) to the greatest extent possible.
